Advice Centre Support in Sheffield (ACSiS) was the umbrella organisation for 33 advice centres in Sheffield. It was set up in 1976 as a local forum for advice workers (and was then known as Sheffield Advice Centres Group)Over time it has taken on a strong training role.From the 1st January 2009 ACSIS merged with the Debt Support Unit and are now known as the DSU Training Department.
