About Us -PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT GIVE ADVICE
Our
Services
Our main service to members and, in a more limited way, to outside
agencies is advice skills training. Because of the importance
and size of the training service we have describe it in some detail
on separate web pages.
At
present we are financially and practically supporting the development
of a consortium of the advice centres in Sheffield to negotiate
Sheffield-wide funding bids in the future.
We also provide additional help to member centres, such as:

Welfare Benefit rates charts and calculation sheets.

Advice centres information lists including e-mail addresses
and ex-directory numbers.
Our
Management Committee
As
company limited by guarantee, ACSiS is managed by a board of directors
drawn from member centres. In day to day language we refer to our
management committee. Currently the membership is:

-Training Manager
Lydia
has overall responsibility for running ACSIS training,supervising
staff,premises and budget.
Claire
-Training Administrator
Claire
has responsibility for BAWS and short courses administration,finance,health
& safety ,IT systems and premises issues.Claire also covers
reception duties and
updates
the website.
Helen
- Admin/Finance Worker
Helen
produces invoices and the fortnightly mail-out to centres. She
also produces the training materials used on the BAWS and short
courses.Helen also covers reception duties.
