By Road: We are less than 2 miles south of the city centre and Midland railway station. Take either the London Road/Abbeydale route
(A621 direction Bakewell) or the Queens Road route (A61 direction Chesterfield). We are located on Broadfield Road between the junction
with Abbeydale Road and that with Clyde Road. Go along Broadfield Road until you see the modern Virgin Active gym across the River
Sheaf. We are opposite in the building marked by a curved glass facade (see above - the 1930's style Old Dairy).
Parking: There are a number of free parking spaces on site in front of the building; priority is given to
people with a mobility difficulty. Free on street parking is also available within easy walking distance.
To gain entrance: Our training rooms are on the ground floor of the building. Go through the first set of doors then ring the intercom buzzer to be let in.
Buses from City Centre
75/76 (Woodseats) and 97/98 (Totley)
Along Abbeydale Road. Get off at the old Picture House / Empire Road.
20/20A (Hemsworth), 25/25A (Bradway), 53 (Bradway via Low Edges
All buses go along London Road / Chesterfield Road and go on to Woodseats. Either get off at Albert Road and walk under the rail
bridge to Saxon / Clyde Road OR get off opposite Heeley Retail Park, and then by the new Lidl store walk down Little London Road, under
the rail bridge, then take the signed pedestrian route past the Virgin Active gym to Broadfield Road.
10 (Circular): Runs hourly along Broadfield Road itself. In both directions it passes AST at about half-past
the hour. Its route is Manor / Newfield Green / Valley Road / Broadfield Road / Hunters Bar / Hallamshire Hospital / Netherthorpe
/ City Centre / Manor Park.
