Advice Centre Support in Sheffield (ACSiS) was the umbrella organisation for 33 advice centres in Sheffield. It was set up in 1976 as a local forum for advice workers (and was then known as Sheffield Advice Centres Group). Over time it took on a strong training role. From the 1st January 2009 ACSIS merged with the Sheffield Citizens Advice Debt Support Unit and its training arm is now known as 'Advice Support Training'.
